A SwitchIt Gift Card is a revolution in the Gift Card space as it gives you one card that has multiple retailers/brands loaded on it. SwitchIt digital Gift Cards are available as an all-in-one card that has over 80 retailers - the SwitchIt Black or 9 category cards each representing a specific category and each offering a range of retailers/brands from 12 to 42 each card). Gift Card Express is a BUSINESS TO BUSINESS site which means it only deals with all sizes of companies (from SME's to corporates), charities, schools, clubs and federal, state and local government. There are no restrictions on the number or amount of Gift Cards you can purchase. However, some brands may have limited denominations. Refer to the specific brand’s product page to find out what denominations are available – you may be required to purchase multiple Gift Cards to reach your desired amount.

To speed up payment we invoice instantly after you click the PLACE MY ORDER AND INVOICE ME.  All you need to do is direct deposit the funds into our account.  BSB and Account details are clearly marked on the Tax Invoice. Once your funds transfer is cleared we will release the digital codes or ship the physical Gift Cards.

No, you cannot use your SwitchIt Gift Card directly to pay for purchases. You must exchange your SwitchIt Gift Card for your choice of one or more retailer digital gift cards, which can then be used to pay for purchases in-store at your chosen retailer.

Your SwitchIt Gift Card is valid until the expiry date stated in your SwitchIt Gift Card email. It can be exchanged for retailer digital gift cards up until this expiry date.chosen retailer.

After exchanging your SwitchIt Gift Card, you will receive vouchers by email for the retailer digital gift cards of your choice. Follow the link in each voucher email to activate your digital gift card and access the information needed to redeem your gift card for goods and services at your chosen retailer.

After exchanging your SwitchIt Gift Card and receiving a voucher by email for a retailer digital gift card of your choice, activate your retailer gift card by following the link in the voucher email. The expiry date for your activated retailer gift card is then displayed, along with the information needed to redeem your retailer gift card.

No, you can exchange some of your SwitchIt Gift Card balance for your choice of retailer digital gift cards, and save the rest for later.

Once you've exchanged your SwitchIt Gift Card and received vouchers by email for your chosen retailer digital gift cards, you cannot change your mind.

Your SwitchIt Gift Card cannot be redeemed for cash or returned for refund.


Switch it and eGift cards are delivered via email, usually within a maximum of 3 hours from payment acceptance. Physical Cards have processing time of 2-4 days with delivery time up to 5 days. Delivery will be based on the shipping method you selected in your order. You will receive an email with tracking info for physical card orders once they have shipped for both the express post and trackable post options.

For Switch it cards and eGift Cards it is free. For plastic cards we have a flat rate of only $15 Australia wide using next business day deliver Australia Post - Express Post or eParcel. 

Switch it and eGift Cards can be sent to multiple addresses. Just click on the multiple address button in the shopping cart. For Plastic Gift Cards we only deliver to one address. For the Switch it and eGift Cards we do email to any email inbox as instructed by you or we can send all to you. For Physical Gift Cards we do not deliver internationally as the cards are for use within Australia.

The recipient will receive an email that contains a link to their SwitchIt or eGift Card. You will also receive a confirmation email that the recipient has received their eGift. The link in the recipient’s email will take them to their personalized SwitchIt or eGift Card which can then be redeemed as per the terms and conditions of each card. Please refer to each merchant’s redemption details for use. In the majority of cases, the recipient can use the SwitchIt and eGift Cards directly from their smart phone.

If your recipient has not received their SwitchIt or eGift card, first confirm the email address is correct and that the email has not landed in their spam folder. If there is no trace please email your dedicated Corporate Partnership Manager on

Gift Cards are non-refundable. In event the intended recipient does not receive their eGift Card, please contact your Partnership Manager at

Once the SwitchIt or eGift Card has been sent it is non-refundable. It is the same for Physical Gift Cards. If the intended recipient does not receive their SwitchIt or eGift Card or accidentally deletes/loses it, we are happy to resend it if we can see it has not been used. Just contact your Corporate Partnership Manager or email The team are there for you 9:00am-5:00pm AEST Monday – Friday.

For balance, transaction and expiry information please contact the brand directly. Contact information is printed on the eGift that is sent to the recipient or available in the Terms & Conditions for each brand’s page on our website. Please note this is private information that we at Gift Card Express do not have access to so best go straight to the retailer/brand.

Most Gift Cards can be used at the merchant's retail locations and online at the merchant's website. However, since every merchant is different, please refer to their specific redemption details found on each brand’s product page prior to purchasing the Gift Card.

Our general policy is that we do not offer refunds following purchase or after delivery of your order.

To redeem a SwitchIt digital Gift Card a recipient simply clicks on the “SwitchIt Now” button and follow the prompts to make a selection. Once clicked, a new browser window will open featuring the brands from the selected SwitchIt Gift Card received. Here the recipient simply chooses the brand they want. Following selection, they can proceed or indeed change their mind and select another card from the initial brands listed. The recipient then selects the denomination and quantity and clicks on the Checkout button. PLEASE NOTE recipients are able to select multiple denominations and multiple cards within the one preloaded value. For example a $100 card can be split into multiple denominations between brand A, brand B and brand C.  Once the Checkout button is clicked the recipient re-enters their email address and clicks next. A confirmation page appears showing the particular retailer Gift Cards selected and their value. The recipient is asked to Confirm. Once confirmed, an email containing the eGift Cards of the brands chosen is sent to the recipients instantly. Here the recipient can print or view to redeem.
